Rev. Sean McRoberts (they/them/theirs) is an elder in the Iowa Conference.  Following the 2019 General Conference they requested a leave of absence from appointed ministry until the denomination repents of its discrimination against LGBTQ people.  Sean is currently working as Director of Operations and Development at the Wesley Center at the University of Iowa.  They live in Iowa City with their wife, Colleen, and two dogs.
