Introducing Carol Ngwenyama

Carol Ngwenyama (she/her/hers) is the Organizing Associate Intern at MFSA. Carol works in collaboration with Executive Director Bridget Cabrera in support of the Program Council helping with any administrative tasks and follow-up, building relationships with Regional Communities, and working on organizing and advocacy campaigns of MFSA.

Carol, is a Theology student at Drew University, Madison in the Masters of Divinity for Social Justice Advocacy program. Carol’s career interests center on advocacy, the role of media in justice-seeking, and Christian community leadership. She is currently in her second year and lives in New Jersey.

Carol was born and raised in Zimbabwe which is one of the southern countries in Africa. Upon graduation, with a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of South Africa in 2017, she has been able to find a great opportunity to be a Global Mission Fellow of the General Board of Global Ministries with the United Methodist Church and served in the Ukraine as a Preschool Teacher and Youth leader at St John's United Methodist Church. This experience and service helped to deepen her faith and learning in justice-seeking services.
