Rev. Adrienne Brewington

Rev. Adrienne Brewington (she/her/hers) worked as an actress and an attorney before answering the call to set apart ministry. Her work as an attorney took her from the prosecutor’s offices of both Bronx and Suffolk Counties, to the New York State Attorney General’s Office and a tenure working in the civil rights practice of her husband, attorney Frederick K. Brewington.

As a pastor, Rev. Brewington has served First United Methodist Church of Hollis, the Westbury United Methodist Church, and the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church. She also spent 8 years serving as District Superintendent of the Long Island East District of the New York Annual Conference. She served as dean of the Cabinet the last four of those years.
